Ewohimi Iyagun Water Supply Scheme was originally designed to supply natural spring, pipe borne water to Ewohimi, Ekpon, Ewossa, Ebelle, Ewatto, Ogua,
Igueben, Orhodua and Udo.
We commend the Federal Government,
who despite in an election season, in February
2019 released 50% of N100bn 2018 Zonal
Intervention Projects fund. This
is unprecedented in the history of Nigeria.
Also, we commend our ever hard working and
dedicated Federal lawmaker Hon., Barr., Deacon Sergius Oseasochie Ogun, the facilitator of this project. Who didn’t connive with federal agency to deviate
the fund for personal use.
In no distant time, the sad tale
of the death and dearth of public water supply in Ewohimi Town and environs
would be confined to the dustbin of history. The good old days of free pipe
borne water is becoming a reality again.
